vaL's bacK! for now..

back from thailand.. before i start to blog, i'm gona do what singaporeans do best. COMPLAIN

1. AIR ASIA- delay delay delay and MORE delay. it delayed when i departed, it had to delay when im heading back to Singapore!. i reached Asia Hotel at 3am, and i had to take a cab home when i'm back. Gate 49, last gate.. singapore really SHOULD have an airport dedicated to budget airlines, and PLEASE, make it QUICK!
2. TUK-TUK- we hopped on a tuk tuk, the person quoted us 1o0bhat. which was already WAY over the price, but oh well, the deal was made in a haste, and due to negligence. wanted to watch boxing. he kept askin bout "ticket" "ticket" "ticket", and brought us to a place selling TICKETS. it's a licensed travel agent i suppose. nope, we did NOT buy the ticket. wanted to get to the stadium, and he asked for 500bhat!!... hopped off the tuk tuk, didnt even wana pay for the 100. reluctantly, we did tho. *strangles the driver*
3. MUAY THAI-1500bhat for the ringside seat, followed by 800bhat, and 500bhat, standing seats. NO WAY... it's quoted in lonely planet as well as other resources that it's only 150-300! rite... so we get the "foreigner" price.... great.. NOPE, we DID NOT watch. sigh.
4. CALYPSO CABARET-supposedly the best cabaret show in the whole of bangkok, and it's hosted at our hotel. AND, according to resources, it's only 600... quoted price, 1000? 1500?? cant remember. needless to say.. we declined.
5. POKER CARDS-i've got no idea how a big bottle of Singha (beer) can cost only 150Bhat, and a pack of cards 600 bhat. rite. tellme bout it..
6. CITY CAB-i'd understand if the thai ppl are out to cheat me, but tis taxi driver is horrendous! SHB2634C. you WATCH OUT MISTER! i'm gona GET U!!. he did not have his licence n picture put up. just u wait. here's how it goes. frm changi airport to my place, rite beside jurong point. which route would u take? a road "idiot" like me can easily quote "PIE" but NO.. i was taken to town, followed by NTU, if i dont recall wrongly i see tanjong pagar, west coast??, tang dynasty, corporation road, yung kuang road, and finally home. cab fare? $31.90. so, anyone gona volunteer to write a complain letter for me? i "questioned" him with regards to the routing etc.. but he acted blur etc... i used rather crude words, and started an argument with him. those who wana hear the story, buy me coffee aight? its too difficult to blog. haa

so much so for bad stuff... good stuff??? loads! shallnt blog them down. Not yet. it'll go on forever... oh.. we got upgraded to a suite on the first nite! so much so for checking in late aYe~? haa.. poor eric ended up buying lots of gifts for his family and landed with only a pair of Great looking jeans. oh well.. me? nothing much.. not much shopping. enjoyable time tho. extremely!

gotta UN-pack my hand carry luggage, pack up eric's gift(S), RE-pack my big suitcase full of winter wear, long john, scarf, beanie, instant noodles, as well as my hand carry bag. sigh. packing was never a chore.. just that, not with only 2days appart. id b back at the airport in no time. sigh. taking SQ tis time tho. (thankfully).. no more delays.. i hope. or i'd b back with more complains. EUROPE, here i COME!!!

what a long blog. shall leave the next 12 days to JAC. (hope i wont sweep cobwebs) she'd b away frm 4th to 7th.... i'd b away frm 24th and back on the 5th. just nice! there'd always be someone here. MISS ME aight!!?? i'd miss singapore. know i will.. i'd miss eric.. my bed.. eric..my "7-11" msg tone.. eric.. food.. eric..
